Ship hull spec [ms_enlilRC] not found error / crash

i stopped playing starsector a week ago in favor of disco elysium but now i wanted to continue my newest save but got the above error while loading the game.

anyone know what mod it might be for so i can re-download that and hopefully be able to continue with my current save?

also:
what is the best practice for updating mods? for now i've been deleting the old mod folder and replacing it with the new version (after reading that this is the only viable way to update some mod don't know which exactly) am i doing it wrong?

The new version of Shadowyards breaks save compatibility. Sorry; was kinda unavoidable-the ships that your save isn't able to find had to have their internal ids changed in order for some aspects of their functionality to start working.

ok thx. i started a new run a few hours ago. so is it wise to just not update mods if they don't have gamebreaking bugs to avoid trashing your save?

if they don't break saves they should be fine to update
