I dunno, but I think that if you don't do big bounties, smaller ones will pop-up again after a while. btw, if you are new, just hang in there, the game becomes a lot easier once you become experienced.
get the "remove level cap" mod, and start off with the salvager skills, the first 3. now D-mods are 50% less bad and they also lower the monthly maintenance cost. higher chance to recover enemy ships and gear.
what I like to do now is start with no faction, and just mine and dodge ludic path/pirates, stay out of the conflict, level your industry tree for salvaging and technology tree for transverse jump, better sensors, better dark mode. this way you can stall for as long as you want. I use nexerelin for the custom start and mining.
pirate ships like the shrike P, buffalo mk2, wolf P are great for mining. after I leveled up my tech tree + accumulated a fleet of at least 10+ shielded cargo holds pirate ships I do some drug smuggling also.
