I've seen plenty of people say this same thing but I'm going to add another name to the pile so that maybe It can be fixed a little faster since its really preventing me from taking the next big step in my colonization efforts.

It's the consistent crashing while putting your mouse over the Stellar Reflector Tech in the AOTD tech tree. This isn't much of an issue to keep me from playing as I am now but without the reflectors, I am locked out from doing a lot of the proper terraforming techs which all require the reflectors in order to change planets from one type to another that would be habitable.

Plz, plz, plz fix this soon. I beg. I will give you all the Volturnian Lobsters, rec drugs, and Alpha Cores you can ever want.  :'(
It's definitely possible to research them. I've done so with the current version of TASC. It shouldn't immediately crash just from mousing over the tech or clicking it for the purpose of researching at least.

Not really anything Kaysaar can do about it. It's a TASC-side issue.

I'm using this alongside Unknown Skies and I've noticed two things that may or may not be intentional:
1. Lifeless-Bombarded worlds can't have their types changed (World Type does not allow for further terraforming)
2. Barren-Desert worlds do not count as barren worlds, such as for the project of removing the atmosphere

It happens to me the same thing, when placing the cursor over the icon to see the structure information the game crashes.

Yeah, that's the thing you mustn't do. So long as you don't view the structure itself while you're not docked at a planet, you're good.

huh? I'm not sure I follow. I'm having the CTD too, but for me, it's only when I look at the TASC research tree, click on the Stellar shade research, then crash the second I hover over the picture of the Stellar shade, cause the tooltip is what's causing the crash.

But when I look at a built stellar shade on a planet (I'm running VoK, TASC, and Terraforming Made Easy. and TME has another more expensive way to get a stellar shade condition, which then auto builds the TASC structure), there's no crash when I click on it or anything.

In the research menu obviously.

The specific cause is that it checks the conditions of the planet it is on to decide if its Stellar Mirror (cold) or Shade (hot), which causes a crash when it can't find a planet.

 I believe you can do that in the mod settings. there is a project to remove radiation but it cost so much you might as well just buy a new planet.

Latest update is completely broken. I got this error when trying to load. Its not a ctd error and I fixed it by reverting back to the previous version of this mod.

That sounds like it's trying to load from the wrong file. Your save should just be campaign.xml, with campaign.xml.inprogress being a temporary copy created while saving.

Could you include a download link in your version checker file? (I think that's how that works?) So the TriOS mod manager can automatically download the newest update, and we don't have to download it manually? Would be very much appreciated.

I am seconding SSchorik0101, I am getting the exact same error in the same situation.
Did you guys miss the Original Post update? It literally says its not save compatible.

Backwards compatibility: 9.0.13 is NOT backwards compatible with previous versions of TASC.
