To clarify, Does this work with saves that are not max level? or do you have to be max level to access this? if not, how would I change it so I can access this mod without max level?

Both limitations can be lifted.
Recording is in the settings file, unfortunately I can't remember how it is done for inheriting (restoring recorded progress) but unless you forget to do it immediately after beginning a new game this won't be a problem.

Currently, you can only inherit a random number of bluebrints from ALL your available blueprints.

That means all of these:



I personally don't mind searching for and finding ship/weapon blueprints. I'd like to inherit hullmods for new runs only, because lacking hullmods in the early game is super annoying.

Any chance you could let people inherit specific types of mods?

Edit: Alternatively, if you can tell me how to make the mod not check for anything but Hullmods in my version, that would work too.

You can go to save folder and manually delete all known blueprints.
Starsector\saves\common\UNGP_inherit.data
It's in plain text so just open it with notepad++

Found an interesting problem with the 0.95a update. It seems that marines, now having experience ranks, are not detected by the work harder rule. Or rather, they are, but only in their original inexperienced form. As soon as they rank up, it can no longer detect any marines and riots begin to happen.

I've tried rather hard to somehow fix this problem via a couple of edits to UNGP_WorkHard.java, but... well I don't think I know what I am doing. Everything I change has absolutely no effect ingame, even something as simple as setting STRIKE_CHANCE_PER_DAY  to 0.00f.

Strikes continue, warning messages continue, nothing changes. It's rather creepy, honestly.

Just asking for a request if its possible.

Could the mod be able to transfer over Officers and their related levels, skills, XP, names and portrait?.

Don't mind much of not transferring much else like ships and colonies and such but would being able to transfer officers like the former Save Transfer used to do?

Yeah he seems to have a new version on his github, however it doesn't look fully translated. And some of the translated files are bugged to hell, in particular the new birthday specialist perk.

That was just a pathing issue, I have personally translated it my end. Or at-least 90% of it and can confirm it all works fine. Including the birthday rule set which just required a different path pushed into the CSV line it calls for. It is ofcourse up to the mod maker/author if it is okay to share the changes. Albeit they are sort of all over the place structure wise, but they do work.
