Vanilla - Clear Down Intel Exploration Data
« on: September 08, 2019, 05:56:26 AM »

Hi Guys,

Over the course of my expeditions I have accumulated many exploration points to check out.

Unfortunately even after visiting most of these they are remaining in my intel screen cluttering the UI with no longer useful information that’s almost 3 in game years old.

Is there an easy way to remove items from the intel screen manually in Vanilla, and if not is there a mod that can add this feature without changing or adding to core gameplay mechanics?

I just saw this earlier today in the mod updates channel in the discord:

Captain's Log 0.0.1 DISCORD BETA

A helper mod to reduce manual note-taking.

Features:
- adds intel entries for discovered cryosleepers and salvageables (e.g. derelict ships, derelict probes, equipment caches, derelict stations)
- adds intel entries for all surveyed planets with unsearched ruins
- deletes some fleet log entries that otherwise can never be removed
- add custom log messages (requires the console commands mod; write CaptainsLog [message] in the console)
- console commands for adding vanilla-style randomly generated stable points to current star system

So join the discord and try that?
