Font is so tiny on my 1440p monitor game becomes unplayable

Bought this game when I used to have a 1080p monitor and everything was great the font size was fine. I upgraded my monitor to 1440p and a bigger screen size and now the game is unplayable. I cannot see the fonts and all the icons and pictures anymore at all. Other space strategy games don't have this issue.

Is there any way of playing the game full screen with a legible font size?

At the moment you can play full screen on a lower game resolution, or force the program to use Windows UI scaling and then alter your desktop settings.

Dev has said he'll get a good and proper UI scaling option in the next major release.
