The quest A Memory has been sticking around for a while in the Story tab, but it was changed to "A Memory - Completed". The quest The Wayward Star is still called that instead of "A Wayward Star - Completed".

I think it just does that. Even if it doesn't technically label it as completed, you've already reaped the rewards. For all intensive purposes, you've completed wayward star.

Just to make sure, you recovered the new sierra ship and got the hullmod (wispsong or whatever) from the other ship right?

For all intensive purposes
Did you do this on purpose? Was that your intent?

Also, another question: is there a way to effectively field Seraph? Having just Seraph in the fleet is enough to have 220/120 automated fleet points, which caps the ship's CR at 25%.

Well you got everything so just try to put it out of your mind lol.

Give her combat endurance and take crew training. That should put her at 55% cr which is enough to not have malfunctions. If you want more CR, you need to go to hull restoration. Or put her in a smaller ship, or one that doesn't cost automated points at all.

Alright cool, just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

That was part of it - I forgot I'd removed Hull Restoration (among others) for points to try and keep both Automated Ships and Cybernetic Augmentation. How do I put her in a ship that doesn't cost automated points? Only human officers show up as options for the other ships in my fleet.

Sentinel fleet if you want a vanilla option. For modded, the only one I know of is RAT which has ai conversion hull alteration (reusable but limited hullmods essentially) that lets you turn any ship into an AI ship without the automated penalty. That can be found in RAT's abyss. You can add that to an existing save and the abyss will generate properly.

So much goodness in this mod, thank you for the amazing work. One of a few excellent mini-campaigns I've tried and probably my favourite.

That usually happens if one of the Luddic fleets that attack Mia's Star during Hope for Hallowhall manages to slip through and successfully attack the Forgeship. Did you stick around to defend the system/sally out to destroy those fleets before they reached Mia's Star?

The Dustkeepers don't always manage to hold out so great w/o human intervention or support, so if you just left them to fend for themselves this is usually the result.

So I have a possibly odd thing, I'm not sure if this is meant to be or not. I just got Barrow
Spoiler
and his ship has shown up as a derelict (as expected), but when I got to salvage it, I don't get any option to recover it. Is that intentional, or are you supposed to be able to get that ship too?
[close]
I wasn't sure, so I figured I'd reach out to ask people on here who would know better than I and I don't want to miss a unique ship if I can avoid it.

that's definitely odd. you're supposed to be able to recover the repose, not sure why it's not letting you do it though.

It looks like the issue here might be that the Hypnos cryosleeper didn't actually spawn (maybe since I'd explored or at least visited every star system in my save before installing mods) - I turned on devmode and I can see the two vanilla cryosleeper systems with their names colored green, but no Hypnos cryosleeper exists in the sector.

I realized what my issue was: I didn't have the Automated Ships skill, hence why I couldn't recover the Northstar. After respeccing into that, I can do so now.
