0.9.1a interesting seeds
« on: May 12, 2019, 12:35:36 PM »

I thought I'd start a thread for seeds for 0.9.1a.  Given I play Iron man, I sometimes run through a lot of seeds in a short while.

Mixed, Normal (I guess that is the MN)
MN-6648120409698677511
Duzhak has a Terran world (Farm+1, Ore+3, Rare Ore+2, Organics+2, High Gravity).  Combined with the Aka Manyu as a gas mining world (volatiles+1), and the two barren planets you can make a completely self sufficient set of colonies within a single system in the core worlds, although with 125-200% hazard rating.

Old, Normal
ON-1162564266431220251
Due east of Corvas about 30 light years lies a yellow star with a Terran world (mild + habitable = 50% hazard) orbiting an Eccentric Terran world with (100% hazard with trace volatiles).  Access to all resources,  and even a stable point in the system for a comm relay.  The distance does mean there is an accessibility penalty of -14% (compared to say Duzhak's +46%, that's a 60% difference).

Edit: Sorry, this is pure vanilla, no mods.

Edit: Although, has Nex already been updated to 0.9.1a already?  I should look into that if so.  :)

You need to list your mods or at least if you are using Nexe or not as mods can mess with seed generations

Hello.

Has anyone found any interesting planets from the last game update ?
If so, could you please link your seed, I´ve been very unlucky finding anything good at all.

Cheers.

2x terran-eccentric worlds in Duzhank system. With 1 or 2 not bad ore planets and at least 1 bad gas giant, afair.

Who plays without Nexerelin, really? People who want less content and without the factions fighting each other?  ;)

People why are still on their first play-through since the game only had one system.

MN-7.  Four or five decent if not great worlds in the constellation of Salerono a short distance east from core.

MN-19412131600109270
Best start so far that I had. In Duzahk there are 2 habitale planets:

Planet 1:
 - Terran World
 - Hazard 50%
 - Farming(+2)
 - Organics(0)
 - Ore Deposits (-1)

Planet 2:
 - Tundra World
 - Hazard 150%
 - Farming(-1)
 - Organics(+1)
 - Ore Deposits (0)
 - Rare Ore Deposits (+1)
 - Volatiles (-1)

Edit: All vanilla (no mods)

MN-7.  Four or five decent if not great worlds in the constellation of Salerono a short distance east from core.
In addition, there is a potential 50% Terran northwest of core (needs to have Decivilized removed).  A short distance northwest of that system is a red system of Remnants to farm, with a Legion (XIV) wreck inside.  Further northwest is a binary system with another Legion (XIV) wreck.

Mods: N/A (Pure Vanilla)

Just tested, this one also works with Nex (provided you haven't randomised the core). Not sure if there's even a possibility it wouldn't of, but I had spare time.

Another fun fact is that Dev mode changes the generation.
MN-0 pure vanilla has two gas giants.
MN-0 in dev mode has one.

MN-0 pure vanilla has no moons around it's gas giant.
MN-0 in dev mode does.

That does not seem right, bug report maybe?

I can tell you now, it really messes up my planned Duzahk Database project.
Edit: Although the forum really not liking nested spoilers doesn't help :P

Another fun vanilla, or Nex with original core (not randomized) is MN-1234567890.  Also easy to remember.

Duzahk has a terran world with low gravity and extreme weather (125%), and farms+1, organics+2.
It also has a terran eccentric world with poor light (100%), and farms+0, rare ore-1, ore-1, and organics+0.
But if you settle cryovolcanic world in the same system (175% hazard), you also get rare ore+1, ore+0, and volatiles+1.
There's also a gas giant with 200% hazard and volatiles +2 if you prefer.
