Ship recovery and fleet limits

At the end of a battle, the game will only list as many ships as "recoverable" as there are remaining slots in your fleet, and it will select in order of ships being destroyed in battle. If I have a fleet with only 9 slots left then only the first 9 ships I destroy in a battle will be available for recovery. This can be a problem if you've got a big fleet and you're fighting another big fleet and you would like a chance to recover a particular ship.
It'd be ideal if the ship recovery dialogue listed every recoverable ship and instead greyed out the recover option if you selected ships above your fleet's capacity to take, or something along those lines.

This is why Recovery Operations 2 (or the perk that raises enemy ship recovery) is useless.

Due to AI logic that trend to deploy best ships last, getting that perk is actually solid shot to your own leg

Wouldn't it be nice if you could recover as many ships as you like, but have any over the fleet cap be auto-mothballed and untouchable until you free up space in your fleet?
(Like how officers/admins work.)

To go over this I just increased
"maxShipsInFleet":50,
But increasing is more I consider especially that enemy can bring plenty of ships with allied fleets.

There have been threads about this before. Fleet limits will make some skills obsolete late game. And they lead to ship size inflation (you always want the largest size cargo/fuel ships, since you don't want to waste fleet slots). It also makes various low-tier ships useless late-game (for example, hounds).

Before lifting said limit, some changes to automate ship management are required, especially that swarm of hounds, really, stack representation will work best, just image heroes game with each peasant in your army have individual record, his own pitchfork and shoes, also you can assign officer to said peasant, just for fun.

Oh that's why... Shouldent it be easier just display all, but when we select more than fleet slots it will not allow it.
