Factions use stuff you sell them

I think it would be cool if factions used stuff you sell them, so if you get and sell say the pirates a corrupt nano forge they would use it in ship production.

They do! If say you sell a nanoforge at Kapteyn (or another colony with heavy industry), they'll make use of it.

I don't think they use blueprints. I sold the hightech blueprints to the Hedgemony, and they never produced anything other than their usual stuff.

I believe they have a set doctrine and ship preference, so they probably won't be using high-tech stuff as they prefer midline and low tech.
