Fleet Points and Reinforcements

I know you have already mentioned that you will be changing this in a future update, but the fact that you can use a bunch of fighters to completely shutdown reinforcements seems to go too far.  On the other hand, I like the overall goal of the strategy, allowing a faster fleet to have a shot against a fleet full of capitals.  My thought: have you considered changing the command points to a resource that grows over time, as opposed to a static resource?  Ie. a certain amount would be generated per second/minute/etc. and the captured points merely increase the rate at which they are generated.  This would not only allow the the slower force to still retain the ability to bring in reinforcements, but it could allow for new augments/upgrades, and therefore new tactics.
