I've got this MagicBounty that's supposed to send the player to any system with a particular theme ("prv_agni_presence"), but the theme is optional and not always present in the sector. If it's missing the bounty will still spawn in the bar event list, but players can't view or accept it. This triggers the "No suitable spawn location could be found for bounty" log error message.

Commenting out "location_themes": ["theme_prv_agni_presence",], gets the bounty to work as it should, except now it obviously won't send players somewhere interesting. "location_defaultToAnyEntity": true, doesn't seem to help.

In particular MagicCampaign.findSuitableTarget seems to be returning null since it's treating seek_themes as hard requirements, while the method comments suggest it to be a preference. May be related to comment //TO DO: check if ALL lists are empty: the final fallbacks end up working on an empty distance_priority list since systems_core..systems_far never got populated.

Hello,

I am trying to create a mod set for 0.9.1a. Is your latest version compatible with all previous versions? or which of these https://bitbucket.org/CodingTartiflette/magiclib/downloads/ do I use?  I tried downloading magilib 0.1 and get

Hello. I was advised to write here. I was just exploring the galaxy, and at one point after interacting with a planet (also works for an orbital habitat or debris field), the game won't pause and my ships just start exploding.

I have several saves.
The first one is broken, and that is what produces this error log that I left here.

I also have a second save five minutes earlier before the broken one.

I can download it and start interacting with objects. And at one point, after interacting with several of them, I see a normal interface window, but in the background I see how my fleet flies by inertia and explodes. No reason, no idea.

If you need any other data, or saves themselves, I can send you, just tell me where.

This is way too late of an update with some bug fixes:

Important disclaimer: This will be my last update for that mod as I have become an unreliable maintainer which is prohibitive for a library. From now on Wisp will be the custodian of MagicLib, and I am grateful for his eagerness to pick up my slack.

I have to apologize to all modders and players that had to use a flawed mod for months when I should have arranged this a lot sooner. For that I am sorry.

MagicCampaign/MagicBounty: Finding target objects now supports defaulting to any system if requested themes could not be found.

You do what you need to do for you, Tart. Nobody will or should hold real life and other interests bumping up against maintaining and expanding on a mod for years against you. All the work you've put in is deeply appreciated.

After updating to Magiclib 0.45.2, three of my mods claimed that they were no longer compatible, asking for version 0.42.1; I attempted to have both magiclibs in the mods folder at once but it didn't work so instead just put 0.42.1 back in. Mods effected: Seeker, Locked and Loaded, Gundam UC.
I'm not sure if this is because these mods were looking for that version SPECIFICALLY instead of "at least version X", but I thought I might bring it up just in case.

I'll also be posting this in the other relevant mod forums (that you didn't make so you don't get spammed).

It is because those mods specifically require an older version of Magic Lib. Not Magic lib's fault, the authors of those mods would need to update their requirements. Ironic since Seeker, which is one of them, is one of Tartiflette's mods :) Personally I just opened up their mod_info.json and changed the number to 0.45.1, which is the current version of magic lib, to get them load. Follow that at your own comfort level but I would recommend letting the mod authors of those mods know.

The game's version requirement is supposed to be a "at least" check, but as you can see it never worked quite right.
