I really loved this mod last time I played it but it looks like now I can't set the difficulty to max without having to pick a crazy amount of rules. Is there any way to just pick a few rules, but have the multipliers of Omega difficulty?

Alternately, if you could send me your pom.xml so I can get the correct dependencies for your source code to make the changes and rebuild the artifact, that would be awesome.

How to get rid of battle specialization's notifications? Playing on sigma level, it quickly clutters my screen

I just wanted to try this mod out, but it seems it has some really weird restrictions which disappointingly prevent me from playing it the way I wanted to.

So if I wanted to play with intensified trait effects, I would have to pick a higher ''difficulty'' but that ALSO requires that I pick more and more rules? Not only do I have to balance out my points to not be in the negative by picking positive traits with no/fewer negative ones, but also I have to, for example, pick AT LEAST 12 traits on Alpha.

This feels like a very odd and unnecessary limitation to me. Surely, it would be better to give the player more control in regards to customizing their own experience. What if someone would like the more intense effects but without having to pick 12-20 rules at the minimum? The point costs already ensure that you'd have to balance things out, and the intensified effects also ensure that the traits will have an increased effect on the campaign, positive or negative.

There already is a ''chosen one'' option for the inheritance stuff anyway, so clearly something like this should not go against the design philosophy of the mod, as that option already enables the player to have a more powerful/universal option if so desired. The lack of a minmum trait count wouldn't even be anything overpowered due to the cost system. At least an option to turn it off in the config file would be really nice.

I would very much like it if Detente scaled by max fleet size.
I play with very big fleets (100 max), on both sides, so a fixed 15 cap is basically unplayable for me.
