Happy to be back.
« on: November 30, 2017, 10:04:18 AM »

Bought the game 2 years ago i think. Happy to see a new version that greatly adds alot of stuff (latest build i played was 0.72).
One thing that has been bugging me is the fighters. I see down in the left of my screen orders: regroup for my fighters. How do you give them orders? Do they take orders from the command screen cause i haven't figured it out.

By default the Z key toggles fighters between regroup and engage.

You can use engage to either attack enemy ships or escort friendly ships you have targeted (R) and regroup causes fighter replace rate to recover faster.

that's because fighters used to start each battle on Engage by default, rather than on Regroup. it was changed in the latest patch, and the keybinding description wasn't changed alongside it. it'll be fixed in the next release (whenever that will be ^^), along with a few other similar inconsistencies.
