I give you . . . a rough draft of The Core Worlds subsector of the Persean Sector, rendered in Traveller 10x8 parsec hex grid. (wide instead of tall). I've been itching for Traveller or a sci fi tabletop rpg for a while and I had the thought of adapting the Persean Sector to the rules. I've certainly played games of StarSector where I never really left the core worlds, so I feel like I could absolutely run a Traveller game in just this one subsector alone.

What do you guys think? And bear in mind, this is just a rough draft I slapped together.

I do want to note, I had to skew and compress some things to make everything fit, and I tried to adjust stars to compensate for the skewing.

Oh, neat!

Traveller as a game system has always amused me; where else do you have a chance of your character dying before the game even starts?

Wyvern is 100% correct about the math.

Not quite sure how I want to do the map key. I tried to mark every system that has a military base, and will be marking each one that has a megaport as well.

Amber zones are all systems with either a Pirate or Luddic Path port, while the Red Zone is the one port that has ONLY a Luddic Path port.
