Crash error with Omnifactory Rebooted
« on: August 24, 2017, 07:02:39 PM »

I have a number of mods installed and among them are Omnifactory Rebooted, which is a great mod but it seems that it is causing a number of crashes due to missing data or something similar.
This crash occurs when the omnifactory finishes analyzing a standard eagle cruiser, after which the game crashes. I could get around the crash with a save transfer but I want to see if it is possible to make the eagle usable with this mod, as analyzing it causes a crash.
I'm wondering how I would be able to get around this crash and make the eagle(and other similar ships) usable with the omnifactory. The lines of my log file detailing the crash are here:
https://pastebin.com/5MH1vuQY
I have 16 GB of system RAM and have 8 GB allocated to Starsector.
My system specs are:
Intel Core i7-7770 3.6 GHz with 4 cores as my processer
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 with 3 GB VRAM as my graphics card
Windows 10 doesn't seem to have any way to check your motherboard or other internals so I can't acquire that information easily, though I doubt that is a problem.
I'm using Starsector 0.8.1a on Windows 10 64 bit Home Edition, the mods I have enabled are:

Dynasector 1.3.2
Blackrock Drive Yards 0.9.0
Combat Chatter 1.7.2
Console Commands 3.0 WIP 5
Dassault-Mikoyan Engineering 0.9.5f
Diable Avionics 1.86
Flu-X 1.15
Interstellar Imperium 1.17.2
LazyLib 2.2
Metelson Industries 4.5.6
Neutrino Corporation 1.84-RC 2.1
New Galactic Order 1.06a
Nexerelin 0.8.1c
Oculian Beserks 0.6.0a
Omnifactory Rebooted 2.2.4
Outer Rim Alliance 0.73
Portrait Pack 1.2.3
Scy Nation 1.33
Shadowyards 0.6.2c
Ship/Weapon Pack 1.3.0
The Knights Templar 0.9.8c
The Nomads 1.4.11-rc2
Underworld 1.1.2
Version Checker 1.7c
Graphicslib 1.2.1

Prior to the crash, I was raiding convoys in hyperspace to obtain materials for the omnifactory and salvaged an eagle cruiser from one of the convoys, I went to analyze it at the omnifactory using AI Cores I acquired earlier and then left to raid more convoys while it was analyzing, when it was done analyzing, my game crashed, the details of which are posted above. Also the eagle was mothballed when I analyzed it, which may be a problem if the game tried to create a mothballed eagle in the omnifactory but I'm unsure of this.
I believe the issue is with Omnifactory Rebooted specifically but I'm not certain, so i'm providing as much information as I can.

From what I have heard, it is a known bug with Omnifactory

That's unfortunate, do you know when it might get fixed?

I don't but I would keep an eye on the thread if I was you.

The crash is not specific to the eagle but rather to certain D-modded ships (I'm not sure exactly which ones, I think it may have something to do with the procedural generation.) The newest version resolves the bug by forbidding D-mods altogether. If you wish to process the Eagle, even without updating, just restore it first.
