Something broke on the Cyrexa II SXC, it crashes the game every time I hover over it (anywhere)

"Fatal: Conversion = c, Flags = Check starsector.log for more info"

Sadly, starsector.log has no more info on the matter

Aight, I've fixed it, something is borked in the weapon_data excel file, I replaced the Cyrexas line with the one from the last working build, so it should be an easy fix.

While I couldn't tell you why this is the way it is, I pasted this in weapon_data.csv

over what is there in current patch and it doesn't crash.  I can only assume it has to do with what the new patch replacing the "%s" with a fixed percent, 30%, but I don't know why.

I did the sme basically what StenKIRA did, except I just went overboard and pasted the entire cyrexia line from the last patch from excel, but what he did works too, so something with the percentages most likely.

Long story short: excel line from last stable build pasted into broken build=fix
I'm sorry if thats not enough. I just brute force things until it works

It is 41 code line (if u open weapon_data.csv in Notepad++ or another program which shows which line it is) Cyrexa II 452 SXC << beginning of line - since others didn't provide this info.

I did what they said in advance before crash even occur - better safe than sorry ;D

Double check if you're commissioned to the UAF or not because that's pretty much an internal faction privileges.

Life for the UAF is pretty peaceful more often than not, so it falls to me as the player to make life hard for them  ;)


this is pretty much a fanfic now oh wow
A splinter faction of the United Aurora Federation, comprised primarily of extremists from its now-defunct Royal August Fleet. Disgruntled by the perceived passivity of the UAF in the wake of the exodus into the Persean Sector, the faction hosts some of the brightest and most deranged the UAF has to offer, and the faction quickly cultivated a reputation within the Sector as a dangerous wildcard. In its early days, leaders and allegiances would change as often as a spacer replaces their suit, caused in no small part by the heavy infighting within the faction and the UAF loyalists’ attempts to suppress and eliminate them. Only after a cycle of bloodied fighting, desperate negotiations and promises traded that a semblance of stability has been obtained within the faction. Shortly after, the faction would enact a centralized coup attempt, succeeding in taking over Favonius in the Caeli star system, reducing Namnlos into a lawless pirate-infested wasteland and heavily disrupting the Auroran mining operations in Stjarna. However, New Auroria remains out of their grasp, with the faction’s main invasion fleet being routed by then-captain Solvernia and the November Guardian Fleet in a pitched battle over Lunamun. The retreating vessels would make a jump into Caeli and consolidated themselves on the taken resort world. With the Federation being stretched too thin to mount a counter-offensive, the splinter faction would proceed to convert Favonius into a veritable fortress-world teeming with underwater strongholds, shipyards and waterborne anti-space ordnance, further discouraging a counter-invasion by the UAF.

Rechristening itself as the Principality, the faction is now led by High Commander Aria Starke- former fleet admiral of the Royal August.  The High Commander is seldom seen in Principality-controlled planets and stations, as she continues to lead an irregular task force that conducts covert operations in the fringes of the sector. Rumors from the core worlds and fringe independent stations say that the High Commander has conducted secret dealings with various major players in the sector, such as [INSERT CURRENTLY INSTALLED MAJOR POWERS IN CURRENT PLAYTHROUGH]. In doing so, the Principality is making a thinly veiled jab at the Aurorans and their hands-off policy in matters concerning the Persean Sector: “We do not stand alone”.


In hushed tones heard in the darkest corners of the dirtiest bars in Favonius, there are whispers of the High Commander’s connections with the Legio Infernalis, [OTHER HEINOUS AND UNLAWFUL FACTIONS PRESENT IN CURRENT PLAYTHROUGH] and various pirate factions that plague the Persean Sector. Such baseless conjectures have no place in the Principality, and public slander of the High Commander will be seen as treason and dealt with accordingly.
