Hi modders,

I am not quite sure if it is possible, but I guess it should be. After having a well established fleet (or even a SO Medusa) fighting against Domain Drones that guard probes/survey ships gets old really quickly, but for some reason Alex disabled automatic resolve on those fights. Can someone with more coding prowess than me create a mod that lets you skip those battles?

Anyone out there? Is it impossible to do? Am I the only one who wants to skip these battles?

if it's possible, messing with the battle script is certainly not trivial.

In fact, I wager it's almost impossible to allow you to skip domain drone battles without allowing you to skip all battles, and that won't be fun.

You're not the only one, but I for one am content to deploy an enforcer, sit back, and enjoy the fireworks for a little bit

I just use SO Lasher to kill them quickly for cheap. But Domain drone battles do get old quickly, that's true.

Shame. I would have thought that considering you can skip overwhelming odds battles elsewhere in the game it would be a simple toggle somewhere that had to be turned off. Obviously, I have no idea about these kind of things.

I guess I will keep a nice SO Medusa in my fleet to deal with these things.

You can skip any battle out there where the enemy isn't trying to engage you.  So all you have to do it make the Domain AI not rank a 15 in Reckless and, if you've got a big enough fleet, they'll try to run.  That way you'll be able to just autoresolve it.
