But after continue playing . Still no peace in sight and again some weeks to month later.

My game is like this too, at cycle 211.

Edit: They've been at war since pretty much month 2.

Each conflict lasts up to a full cycle, so I suspect this is normal.

Just think of it as a sector war - possibly Sector War III, heh.  Maybe not AI War III, but close. Wars with a lot of nations tend to last longer - just look at WWI and WWII, those took 4 and 6 years respectively.

My save, everyone has been at war since cycle 206 (month 2 of the game) and they are all still at war in Nov of cycle 211.  Do you mean a full cycle per conflict, ie 5 cycles since 5 factions are at war?

I'm pretty sure he means a year (IE a cycle in the game)

Made a note to take a look. But:

How many wars are we talking here? If "everyone" is at war it'd be... well, it's too late to do math, but it seems like it'd be more than 5 conflicts. You're basically guaranteed that there's going to be some conflicts at any one time, but any individual conflict should expire after at most a year. Just making sure there's no misunderstanding.

This is correct. They all started within a day of each other, which was a few days in game after i accepted a tri-tach commission.
