Universe at war
« on: April 22, 2017, 07:21:27 AM »

I don´t know if I should post a bug since I´m not sure if it is a feature or has to do with the seed.

I´m still in my first game, but things gut out of control in my multiverse
Everything started as usual, and trading between factions was prospering but after a while some people started to fight each other...

Now the whole universe is at war with each other.
For ages now there is war. Every Faction  is hostile to the others.
And there is no sign of peace.  ???

In 0.7 the factions made peace again after a while ..

Anyone else noticed this and can tell me if I missed something or found a bug?

I have also seen this in the game I started in RC 17. Hegemony and Luddic Church went to war with everyone and never made peace.

Uh, doesn't war last nearly a full year? Something like 8+ months? Pretty sure that's how I remember it always being.

Yep same here.

Only exception is the persean league and the sindrian diktat. Best buddies forever.

Yeah, everyone is at war and it's really annoying. I want to sneak into Sindria to see if it has a high stability so I can sell off the tons of Survey Data I have...but, I took a Hegemony commission and thus I'm Hostile towards them.

There really needs to be a way to put your fleet on standby somewhere and then take off in a shuttle or something...I'm not about to mothball my entire fleet so I can get small and fast enough to try and sneak in.

Can't you park your fleet in storage? I didn't think it mothballs? (Could be wrong though.)

IIRC if you mothball them and put into storage, they'll have no CR, but when put not-mothballed they'll have some.

Yep, you can safely put them into storage and take them out with their full CR. Just don't mothball first, as was mentioned.

SO! I managed to sneak into Sindria, a stability 9 market, and sold off a bunch of Class IV and V survey data...made over 2.5 million credits for that, lol
