Aurora MK II

Could one you starsector geniuses tell me how to get the Aurora Mk II added to the Tri-tachyon faction? The ship was a red colored, symmetrical version of the Aurora that was in some old school mod I used to play. Thanks in advance!

The Aurora Mk II is now an IBB ship in the Ship and Weapon's pack, meaning you can only get it via boarding it the one time it shows up or buying it at Prism Freeport if you have Nexerellin / Scy.

It's not. The IBB Aurora isn't symmetrical, not red either.

I guess Abyz is talking about this one, right?



I think it was part of the Omega's Minimash mod, which haven't been updated in years.

You'd basically have to build a mini mod for it. You would need a .ship file (use the ship editor here: http://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=375.0 ), a .csv file (use a spreadsheet program and copy the aurora entry then work from there but be sure to make the internal names for the ship match up), a graphics folder with the pic in it and a mod info.json which can be made from notepad with this info:

Let me know how it works. I based it off of the SS+ Aurora + I gave it a little bit of a buff in a few places. Let me know how it plays. It SHOULD work fine and bug free since I tested it in the campaign and in a mission. I also included a command to spawn it with the full variant since it won't spawn in the campaign without a ton more work
