I know not a lot of people are concerned about music, but is it possible to have a downloadable (or buy able even) soundtrack?

It would include all the music, including faction encounter music.

That's the plan* eventually, but I'd imagine it will be available to buy when the game is more or less finished. Stian (the composer) is quite the perfectionist, especially about the music

*Well, in as much as I'm pretty sure he intends to do this; I wouldn't be the one releasing it.

Basically:   You need to wait for your cookies, raw cookie-dough is good. But hot fresh cookies are better.

in the meantime, you can extract the individual music files that are currently in the game from \Starsector\starsector-core\sounds\music\music.bin.

when i made cookies with my grandma as a kid, i usually found the raw dough better, to be perfectly honest... <_<
too bad i wasn't supposed to eat much of it because of the raw eggs in it. life can be so cruel.

Eating raw dough or batter can make you sick, and it does not matter how much.  Don't do it!  Usually, that does not happen, but if it does, it hurts!  Diarrhea is not fun!

Also, it is not only raw eggs that can make you sick, but also uncooked flour.
