Is there a way to make the disco ball move away from the Euphoria class carrier? 

I see on the left that it has a status that just says in holding pattern, and I also notice that I get more than 1 disco ball use, but nothing I press makes it move away from the carrier.

Am I missing something super obvious here?

As far as I'm aware, the disco ball just holds where it is. Extra charges means you can call up a new disco ball if the existing one somehow manages to get killed - AoE damage might be able to do that without taking out the host carrier first.

I think adding the bounty portraits to the player portrait pool will cause them to pop up as valid choices for player faction NPCs. Seeing Mr. "in this moment I am euphoric" as a potential colony administrator hire is funny, but I don't think that's intended.

What faction do ships like the Infernus-class Battlewagon belong to? I started up a new game with this mod, but it doesn't list Starlight or Cabal as factions that I can start with.

After starting the game, I checked the Faction directory and saw neither faction.

Did you make sure the Cabal was enabled in the mod's settings? Also, it's the Starlight Cabal, in one title.

The Infernus is a pirate ship. Most ships added by this mod can be found in pirate fleets with a couple fielded by Low-tech aligned factions like the Luddic Church and Path iirc.

The mode is selected when I launch the game. Do you mean that?

I see cabal in the list of factions when I use the command 'list factions', but I don't see any markets when 'list markets cabal'

Cabal isn't a faction you can start with but there is a custom start where you begin with some cabal ships and better relations with them. They don't own any markets but they have a sub market at some tri-tachyon markets. I think port tse is one of them.

Oh, okay. There is a part of the game that I don't understand. I thought it was a group of factions fighting to survive. How would I best go about finding these ships, then?

You find their fleets, you steal the ships you find in there. Alternatively, you raise your rep with them by paying/giving them the items they ask, then buy the hulls on their submarket (should be in Port Tse). Think you can also get their bps if your rep is high enough.

This is still one of my all-time fave mods - thanks for keeping it up to date. It's small, balanced, and fits perfectly into the world without taking it over. One of my first mods I installed for that reason, haha.

There's only a few ways I've discovered.

1: locate a cabalero in any bar that can support pirate contacts. Bet on the dice for a small faction increase and potentially unlock a cabal contact?(testing needed). Don't drop illegal drugs, they generally don't like that

2: Every roaming fleet of cabal raiders can be interacted with to gain faction rating either by 'donating' to the cause or spending a story point to fast talk your way out of paying them. They can ask for any high tech item, colony items, weapons, fighters, ships, and in the absence of all those just a boatload of credits. Paying them like this is among the fastest ways ive found to gain faction rating.

If you want there ships you really only need them at inhospitable. That will let you dock at port tse and tibicena (transponder off), pay a one off fee for that visit and a huge markup and u can buy there ships like that. Or go around blowing them up and recovering them.

Getting friendly allows you to buy the ship blueprint package from tibicena, co-operative lets u buy some nice colony items including a pristine nanoforge as well as reducing the cost of there ships/weapons.

There may be other ways to gain factions, these are the ones ive found. hope this helps
