running simulation on refitting crash ss+/nex/faction mods

Its crashing on some faction ships. I can buy the ship but when doing simulation or using that ship in an actual engagement it crashes.

Is there some mods that I shouldnt be running at the same time or Im missing something? im using the 64bit java since I couldnt open the game since It need lots of ram to run lots of mod. Installed the game on my ssd.

I turned off the shaderlib via shaderSettings.json and it went fine but my gpu is gtx 670 and I think its more than enough to run the shaderlib even in max settings?

Not to mention you have an NVidia :D Have you tried to just disable the post processing on the bottom of the settings, instead of all? For me, turning that option off, helps a lot with battle FPS when there is a chaos, and I think Dark Revenant mention that at least "for now" it does not really offer much. But I might be wrong, but still you could try to disable just that.

PS: In your list I see ShaderLib Craptop Settings and ShaderLib Deluxe Settings, along with the normal ones. I am guessing you are just listing these, since they are setting files?

The fix is actually to update Starsector.  You are using an earlier Release Candidate containing a bug that breaks on factions without turret covers.

@Weltall I think when I installed the shaderlib file it was included on the zip file if im not mistaken,  i did just installed them all on the mod folder.  Should i remove them as a precaution?

@Dark.Revenant Ill do what you recommend,  I feel that theres a problem on the lighting mod settings at first since thats the problem I always get when playing skyrim w/ lots of mod that it crashes most of the time lol

My gpu died a few times testing which work.  I set the lighting false on the settings and it didnt crash anymore somehow,  anyway gonna try what you guys posted later and an update if it do work

my current ss ver. is 0.7.2a-RC3 which I think is the latest. but it still crashes when I turned on the lighting. anyway I set it to false as mentioned above this post everything works out fine! I could handle it as long as I could shoot out ships since they will be the same rubble when I destroy em  ;D

Is it exactly the same error as you were getting in the OP?

yup same error. Ill try to crash it again later  :D then post the error  ::) to be seen by everyone whos interested on fixing   ;D
