Capped Frame rate

For some odd reason, my game's frame rate has been capped at 30, regardless of mods being active or not.

Hi - operating system/graphics card/latest drivers?

Are you also only getting 30 fps in the main menu as well?

Can you try editing data/config/settings.json and setting "vsync" to false to see if that makes a difference?

Just tried editing vsync and it made no difference.

Fps is capped on the main menu.

As for my computer, I have windows 8, but that's all I could tell you with certainty I'm afraid.  I've never checked/don't know how to check what my graphics card and drivers are like.

Hmm. Does it stay at 30 in battles or does it drop down below that?

My initial thought is that it could be one of two things -
1) The graphics drivers being out-of-date and needing an update, or
2) The computer having multiple graphics cards (this is often the case with latops, where one weaker card is built into the motherboard, and it also has a stronger stand-alone graphics card), and it not using the "good" card to run the game.

Of all things, turns out my laptop wasn't plugged in the whole time.  Game is running at 60 fps now.  Not sure why my laptop being unplugged resulted in lower frame rate, but I'm positive that was the issue the whole time.

Ahh, makes sense. Power management settings kicking in and reducing how much the graphics card is allowed to do.
