Removing Mod-Commodities from Procurement Missions?
« on: December 14, 2015, 08:37:07 AM »

While I do understand wanting to add more to the economy, my mission list is filled with requests for things like "Cloned Organs", "Intelligence Chips", and "Templar Flux Cores". The first two are about as common as Lobsters and the last is hard to procure for obvious reasons.

I can't seem to find the file to exclude those from procurement missions. I'm pretty sure it's possible as AI wars add two more commodities that don't seem to appear as procurement items.

You really ought to update the Knights Templar, since this has been fixed since last week's update.

Same for Scy's intelligence chips, corrected since last week.
To avoid this, you should use Version Checker. It now work like any other mod: tick it in the launcher and it will signal you any updated mod once you are in the game.

perhaps the modding community could get together and attach a flash drive to a carrier pigeon relay or something.

Heh, that's not that far from my upload rate. When I have to put up a quick fix it's always a pain!

Makes one feel good when one has download speeds in gigabytes per second, i cannot even begin to imagine something that slow.

Thank you. I really needed that moment of laughter :D

As for the speed.. ahhh the age I had a 56k moddem and max download speed was 4KB/s .. ahhh :D It took weeks to download my first MMO, Ragnarok. Thanks to these days I can't complain no matter what download speed I get.. although I am glad I have at least 1MB/s now..

Modems, download speeds, pfff!

1. Find out who in your area has the same type of computer you do.
2. Find a way to get in touch with them.
3. Arm yourself with 8-track tapes and tape recorder (in case they don't have an extra).
4. Transport yourself, your tapes and recorder to the residence of the person from step 1.
5. (This part censored to since we do not condone piracy.)
6. Play 2D games, without even knowing that somewhere, Elite, the world's first 3D game was being developed.. (*insert dramatic music*)
(7. 30+ years later, hijack forum threads with random nostalgia while still playing 2D games. :D)
