Had some troubles with ships explosions though. With the mods, i forgot about those blinding flashes when big ships exploded. I know this have been a suggestion for a long time, but i hope this will looked at in the future, it's genuinely painful to the eyes.

There's a ship explosion whiteout option in the config.  I turned it off.

To be a bit more helpful, the line that you are looking for in the settings.json (opened with notepad) is this: enableShipExplosionWhiteout
Set this to false and you won't be blinded again!
the file is located here: ...\Fractal Softworks\Starsector\starsector-core\data\config

This really needs to be in options if this will stay in the game. Two years ago people complained about this problem, and I still see it popping out here and there in different posts.

Thanks for the response but ship explosion white out is not what I was talking about. I want to turn off the white noise flash whenever you switch between different screen and whenever a dialog pops up.

I don't think you can turn off the TV-static (as I've deemed it) when going between dialogue boxes and going between Hyperspace and systems.  However, I don't find it very annoying, unless I'm suddenly and inexplicably lagging when going into a new system or Hyperspace and it takes 5 seconds to get the static over with.
