@Histidine: that's a good idea about highlights, especially - I'll keep that one in mind!

(I've almost added OR a few times but it's not super straightforward and to date, there's always been a different way of doing it. Also it just doesn't mesh super well with how this whole thing works, what with counting conditions for a score etc. If it came down to it, I'd probably add an "Or" command that took a bunch of variables as arguments, though that would not work for checking the return value of another command.)
