Hello,

Looking to download and use some of the mod files on my mac, but some of them (e.g. the mishmash's) are downloaded as .rar files instead of folders with all the data files. Is there a particular way for these files to become useable for a mac? Any suggestions for programs to open/read the .rar files?

Sorry if this is a duplicate post ... i tried searching for ".rar mac" but it came up with words like "rare" and "machine" ... not looking to sort through all those.

Zwickbt15, UnRarX is indeed good at opening RARs as well as assembling multi-part RAR downloads.

But another Mac program you should also have for general use is The Unarchiver. It's way better than OS X's built-in archive utility. I've been using it for over two years and I love it. The Unarchiver also handles more formats than the built-in utility, too. And it's free (yay!).
