Trying to use the supercapitals mod caused lots of trouble to my very modded games, due to "Heavy Mjolnir" and "Siege Coil Gun" being adapted in other mods.

Here is a repack of the mod that

- Works just fine on latest starsector
- Does not have weapon conflit with other mods (I have 122 mods currently)

Heavy Mjolnir has been renamed to Upgraded Mjolnir

Siege Coil Gun has been renamed to SuperHeavy Coil Gun

Which mods would that be? I've never encountered any others.

For that matter, unless they use the same ID, that should do little more than have two weapons with the same name. Which is confusing, but hardly going to break anything.

I'm not experienced in starsector modding enough to know who or what exactly, I think it may have been a file name colliding since to fix it it I had to rename the png and projectiles. Which is why I had trouble with the coil as it reuses some file from heavy mjolnir. OCD triggered in having different names for the same weapon so I went ahead and renamed everything.

The actual error in log was about loading files in other mods (underworld, but if I disable that then VIC, but if ...) and isolated to when supercapitals mod was activated the others loaded fine.

IDK if you're willing to maintain these mods further or if the above repackage was just a one-time thing, but in the Indie Expansion Pack thread someone reported a crash that they thought was caused by IEP but later narrowed it down to Missing Pather Ships:

getting a crash, thanks to a friend we think its your mod causing it (something with IDs? idk, i dont know this stuff)

I have taken over the mod because scarface doesnt isnt really playing this game anymore let alone has time to continue the mod.

I will go through my latest files fix anything i see or which has been mentioned here and update the mod over scarface account for now (there are no rules against that).

I am uncertain if i should create a new mod thread or keep this one active for legacy reason and just rename the scarface account.
The mod team prefers the first option but the second one is technically possible.

I concur. Making a new thread is more practical. For one, the Mod Index draws version number from the thread title, which you won't be able to change otherwise.

That wouldnt be an issue as i do have access to his acc. However zombifying his acc wouldnt be necessary if there is no issue in making a new thread. Therefor i will look into that.

It also makes for a cleaner change of maintainer and is generally less confusing.

Wouldn't be the first mod, either. Unknown Skies recently did the same thing.

white dorito plus, and you can't normally get it I don't think. if you ever -do- encounter one...they are quite a painful challenge to face, especially with regular white doritos...
