Game freezes in the middle of a battle

hi


cpu: 10900kf
gpu: arc a770
ram: patriot viper steel 32gb

my gamu freezes in the middle of the game, i cannot see the cursor, audio is in a loop, when i exit starsector pressing the windows button and go back to starsector it flashes to black and main menu or where it was frozen.

it didnt happen on 0.95.1a

help will be appreciated.

Hi - sorry about the trouble! Is this vanilla or with mods?

If it's vanilla, my suggestions would be 1) checking the windows event viewer for errors, and 2) doing a clean reinstall of the graphics drivers, using the DDU utility to uninstall them first to make sure the new copy is completely clean.
