I have not come across this issue.

 Mem. set to 1g-2g. what I do though is when I start starsector, I go to taskmanager and set the java to high priority.

I've played several games several hours in, and maybe a small hickup during a loaded game.

I'm having quite a bit of fun with this mod, even in it's current state. Got all the diff. races in. So it's an active region of space! I do like the in system tradings. Helps build/rebuild faction rep.
 
mix this mod and all it's current races with the Tradewind mod. I'm having a good 'ol time!

I can now fully trade, scavenge, bounty hunt, scavenge, even pirate, and scavenge!

I just LOVE the Imperium's F-Class freighters. Helps for a lean fast trade fleet. Either quickly hit those debris fields, or quickly take advantage of trade disruptions.

Only 8750 credits? That's chicken feed. Patrol scan fees aren't that bad, i've never gone broke because of them, and in most cases I just out run them,

not when they're about to charge you again not even full day later (17000 plus total), and it's the same fleet that just scanned you. yea that's alot for a "humble trader" ;)

Pinged about three days out from a planet hauling cargo to it. I let them scan pay the toll.

Continue to planet, (now just two days out) then the fleet that JUST pinged me, PINGS ME! ::) I just forked over 8765 credits!! They didn't even get enough distance for me to avoid

I just force close game leave it for a day or two....pisses me off.

love hate. I just love the patrols, but hate them when I get caught. Such a nice addition. keeps things interesting.

Like really low on supplies, get pinged, then can't land. Have to fly around with out supplies 'till they quit persuit, then have to make up for the damage of no supplies which cost me more than if I just paid the toll. HEH....LOVE IT!

Had one last night after about three attempt scanning. Two of which I ran, got caught slippin' and got it from the third, TT area. was acting a punk and refused to pay my 3647 toll. I failed to notice the size of the fleet.....even though I ended up winning. My fleet was recked. Popping attitude can hurt in this game..... ;)

Though I was smugglin' 'evy like on the New Mexco (sp?) station.


Oh, got charged with manipulating the market on Umbra. They were short on food, I replinished. They charged me (month goes by..found guilty) with causing the food shortage so I could take advantage of max profit. Though I didn't, was just following intel. I was able to respond really fast cause I was right in the system with a large load of food, they had me suspect that I had somthin' to do with shortage...... LOVE IT!
