Daedalus supposedly got the feathers to make the wings by killing a bird with two stone.

So was he terrible at throwing so instead of 1 he threw 2 stones, or did he hold the stones and beat the bird to death?
Yeah quick thinking, I share your second assumption,  Icarus had a troubled childhood and was pretty prone to sudden fits of anger coupled with being lost in that labyrinth, i scare to imagine what must have passed through his mind when he got hold of that poor bird.

...basically 2 stones with one bird.

There is something wrong with this statement (sorry, had to point it out)
I know it kinda sounds confusing but bear with me,
many online “experts” believe the usage originated in the story of Daedalus and Icarus, who escaped from the Labyrinth on Crete by making wings and flying out, according to Greek mythology. Daedalus supposedly got the feathers to make the wings by killing a bird with two stone.
Another popular one is "the early worm catches the bird",
What's the origin of the phrase 'The early worm catches the bird'? This is first recorded in John Ray's A collection of English proverbs 1670, 1678: "The early worm catcheth the bird." Clearly, the title of the work indicates that this was considered proverbial even in the 17th century.

Nice ill try it out later, hope you haven't increased any fuel consumption or maintenance values cause I'm kinda drifting lost in space style right now in my current save.

Code
ERROR com.fs.starfarer.combat.CombatMain  - java.lang.NullPointerException
java.lang.NullPointerException
at com.fs.starfarer.campaign.fleet.FleetMember.<init>(Unknown Source)

kinda problematic to pinpoint without knowing the exact source of the exception. There are some posts around the board that are talking about changing the jre of starsector from 7 to 8, you would need to change into jdk 7u80, this would give you the info (unknown source) as JRE can't pinpoint errors originating from class files that are in a JAR archive.

Edit: But if i would have to take a wild guess then the Problem would lie somewhere between Automatic Orders + (any other mod that adds Hull mods) + 30% Traits Starship legends.

Thanks for helping, Hastur :)

Np, just sharing a bit of disinformation and looking around for curious user cases, basically 2 stones with one bird.

I wasn't sure exactly which entries were to blame, so I just deleted every entry with VayraPlayerBounty in it, and that stopped the CDT. Thanks.

That's rad m8.

Yeah was wondering even if it is a Windows 7 thing all together since i dont get that bug on my main Rig which runs windows 8.1 64 bit with 32 GB Ram, GtX980 and tripple SSD with nearly 20 mods active. There that error/Bug hasnt shown itself once (Fullscreen or windowed).

Will have to try out the things you mentioned once i can. Maybe i find the bug somewhere or somehow. Will tell at least the results of what i found.
There may be a workaround if starsector supports it, search for game windowed wrapper and you will find some, set the game to run in Fullscreen and let the wrapper force it into a window, DirectX OpenGL Wrapper looks like your best bet in that regard

Yes indeed. it still happens even when no mods are active or in the mod Folder.
Its funny since when i go Fullscreen everything is Ok but only windowed mode lets this bug pop up.

Will try out the different 3d settings in the Nvidia control panel!
Its definitely a thing between Windowed mode in W7x64, the GFx, and how the games Framework in (combination with the GPU's downclocking on no load) handles rendering operations while saves are being performed. Seeing as you get no error whatsoever only solidify's this assumption as i also have experienced similiar cases with my old 240 gt your best bet are those power management options, older driver versions and *** as it sounds windows updates

16 GB GT 440 W7x64
Mods That are active at the moment:
- LazyLib 2.4e
- GraphicsLib 1.4.0
- Ship/Weapon Pack 1.10.3
Ok i guess going without mods still crashes the game for you ?
If yes r click screen open nvidia control panel look for 3d settings and look for power management modes and try changing them, there should be 3 to 5 depending on your GFX.

well, the problem is that i dont actually see it in the launcher mods!
it doesn't even appear!

if you download it from the forum, extract it from the archive and put it in the mods folder it will work.
I have included pictures of my folder structure, if it looks like in the pictures (on top you can see the pathing Starsector -> mods -> Lazylib) then it will work.

Windowed Mode Bug where when i save (F5 or manually) my game just closes itself and doesnt even report any bugs.
Tried running it as Administrator or Reinstalling Java Runtime but to no avail. As soon as i save 3 to 4 times the game crashes to Desktop.
Cool stuff, what are you running this on ?

Fatal:
LazyLib is required to run at least one of the mods you have installed.
I dont even know what i did wrong at the start.

Code
530728 [Thread-4] INFO  data.scripts.campaign.intel.VayraPlayerBountyHunter  - spawned bounty hunter Councilist bounty hunter with 53 FP to hunt and kill the player for their crimes

Make a backup of your save rclick zip/rar
probably quick and dirty Starsector\mods\Vayra's Sector\VAYRA_SETTINGS.ini, set "bountiesOnPlayer":false, save reload and try to reenable it after you leave the sector.
Another option would be to increase "basePersonBounty" and "personBountyPerLevel" to unreasonably high levels so that despite you having ... done what you have done ... they wont find it reasonable to pay that much bucks to get you ... pacified.
If this doesn't work on its own open your campaign.xml file in your save file (preferably with notepad++) and search for VayraPlayerBountyIntel containing or referring to a VayraPlayerBountyHunter get a feel for the structure and delete/modify the affected rows. You could also try to set your Rep with the revolutionaries to friendly ... lol
