« on: April 07, 2012, 05:22:13 AM »
The corporate collection is a collection of popular and good mods.
So far, it includes these mods:
If you want your mod in this collection, pm me about it or post it here.
So, now that's settled, let me present to you some lore about this collection (no, it isin't lore about the mods, just about the collection )
LORE
At first, the corvus system only inhabited five worlds, each with their own characteristics.
And then the domain arrived, settling for all five of them, and using their advanced terraforming capabilities to make them habitable.
And later on, when the domain collapsed, the hegemon took it's place in the corvus system.
But later on, due to internal conflict and battles with their arch-enemy, the TriTachyon, an splinter group of pirates formed, and named themselves the Junk Pirates.
They relied on scavenging mostly hegemony ships and technology, occasionally scavenging the tritachyon patrols that crossed their territory.
And then a faction calling themselves the nomads arrived, taking no planet as their home, and wandering the infinitie space for as long as they could remember.
They had not much interest in the corvus system, but when the hegemony appeard hostile against them, they had to defend themselves.
And so, the Hegemony-Nomad war started.
And within all this chaos, two factions managed to slip through the defenses of both sides and estabilish their presence in the sector, namley the TimCORP and the Alliance, which both where hostile against eachother.
And in the midst of uprisings and wars, the result of the hegemonys oppresions in the roche systems where about to come and haunt them.
A collection of rouge traders had named themselves the "Trade Scavangers" and where about to enter the corvus sector.
Though they didn't field dedicated warships, but instead they fielded merchant ships, modfied for war.
This proved fatal to the hegemony commanders, as the trade scavangers came in large groups, overwhelming the hegemony defense fleets.
The corvus system is now thrown into wars and chaos, and the populated planets that remain under Hegemony control where on the brink of anarchy.
To be continued.........
