What about making NL hullmods cost no to minimal OP and making them increase DP like with CH instead?
I feel like that is counterintuitive as the purpose of the player piloting ships with their own skill is to provide greater DP value for their flagship than under AI control.
Increasing ship DP to accommodate player piloting basically nullifies that. It feels... wrong.
But NL allows to substitute for not having a real officer/AI Core.

(On a totally unrelated note, ahem - it's been long overdue, but I finally made some improvements to fleet AI about avoiding black holes in the first place, and using Emergency Burn if somehow still stuck in one!)

I'd like to add that Threat Reduction feels off. No bonuses from Cryoarthmetic Engine, Alpha Core, SP Improvements to Patrol Base/Military Base/High Command... or even maluses from them having shortages! And I disagree that with only a single PB/MB/HC in a system being counting towards Threat Reduction, if the Diktat is hard to attack lorewise (even if not gameplay wise) because of they have many military installations in one system shouldn't it also be the same for player's faction?

I agree with Alex that Core worlds don't need to match procgen but they could be bigger and more prosperous. Right now they are still underwhelming despite all the limits for what players could do with their colonies.

I think Hostile ships destroyed by Mercenaries/Patrols should also reduce hostile activity, it shouldn't just be from the player engaging them directly. Perhaps a randomized reduction every month if it's abstracted away?

And failed raids should also give reductions.

One thing I haven't seen mentioned here is more varied/unique exploration content.

is *chefs kiss* amazing. I want to see more stuff like that where there is unique, interesting and challenging stuff to find out in the void. Currently exploration content can feel a bit cookie cutter, but I suppose that's also partly because I know all the things that can be out there.

I dream of the day when I pop into a system and ominous music starts playing along with a large unidentified contact approaching on radar :) .
That system is great! Especially what happens afterwards. Although I wish players could as a colony item.

Will we get another hotfix or is .1 the next stop?

Barring major crash-bugs or similar, it should be on to .1 from here! Fingers crossed.
Great news! Will .1 have skill changes (like for CA/NL)?
