I have faith that this'll still be doable somehow.Trust the players to exploit the game deliberately or even worse, by accident.
But NL allows to substitute for not having a real officer/AI Core.What about making NL hullmods cost no to minimal OP and making them increase DP like with CH instead?I feel like that is counterintuitive as the purpose of the player piloting ships with their own skill is to provide greater DP value for their flagship than under AI control.
Increasing ship DP to accommodate player piloting basically nullifies that. It feels... wrong.
(On a totally unrelated note, ahem - it's been long overdue, but I finally made some improvements to fleet AI about avoiding black holes in the first place, and using Emergency Burn if somehow still stuck in one!)Great job Alex!
One thing I haven't seen mentioned here is more varied/unique exploration content.That system is great! Especially what happens afterwards. Although I wish players could as a colony item.
The newis *chefs kiss* amazing. I want to see more stuff like that where there is unique, interesting and challenging stuff to find out in the void. Currently exploration content can feel a bit cookie cutter, but I suppose that's also partly because I know all the things that can be out there.Spoilersystem with AI XIV ships[close]
I dream of the day when I pop into a system and ominous music starts playing along with a large unidentified contact approaching on radar .
Great news! Will .1 have skill changes (like for CA/NL)?Will we get another hotfix or is .1 the next stop?
Barring major crash-bugs or similar, it should be on to .1 from here! Fingers crossed.
