Suggestions / System tests in the Refit menu.

So I refitting my new ship and was looking at the Auxilary Thrusters - Increase the ship's maneuverability by 50% and found myself thinking just how much is that would that be a boost for this ship? Without it being shown in the ships info the only way to know would be to run a simulation and test it with it off and with it on. That would involve loading in and loading out more than once and hoping to notice the difference between then.

So I had an idea, wouldn't it be great if there was a button I could just press [Test Systems] and an asteroid would appear and the ship would just fly around it shooting it. Form there I could just remove the Auxilary Thrusters and see how the change affects the ship in real-time. I could also use a system like that to test how the ship increases its performance with a captain on or off the ship.

This type of system reminds me of a Training Dummy in other games in which the player tests their DPS with their current setup/load-out of equipment. This could very well be used in the same way.

Currently, the way it is designed is static, (or maybe I am mistaken in think that is static). Maybe a live little test area would have to be created too overlay the current design or something or, maybe it could be changed/redesigned to not be static.

I am not sure something like this could be easily added but it would be nice.

So there was a pirate base that got assaulted by another faction and joined in but due to the size difference of fleets, I got nothing for my help which is fine.

So then once the battle was done we were all sitting around the now-dead space station when a new group of two small pirate ships arrived and then got attacked by the other faction which I joined in hoping to get one or both of them.

The now-dead space station joined in the battle with the two ships. Only two ships died quickly but the dead station it seems must still be marked as a must destroy target to end the battle, only it is already dead and just a hunk of floating metal now.

So there is the bug, you can not auto leave the battle. The only way I can think of is to retreat from it.

So I did and it counted it as a win for us and let me loot one of the ships I managed to get. However, in the description, it says that I fleed from battle and was unable to further pursue the enemies as the other factions fleet did so. Still, the end rewards counted it as a victory despite it not claiming it as such.

I think a veteran or seasoned player might be able to tell when they have canceled their AI in control of the ship (if they even play like that) but I as a new play cannot tell when I have done so by mistakenly pressed a button or clicking. I only notice that after a while of inaction. It would be great if there was some graphical indication that the AI is in control and when it is released. (If there is a clear and easy way to tell I haven't noticed it and that isn't good either if that is the case).

This is just a suggestion.
I usually set it to autopilot and follow along. I noticed that at the bottom in the middle of the screen is the fps displayed. I thought maybe a blurred transparent blue or white bar looking like this /```Fps Frame Rate```\ could appear behind the fps counter whenever the AI was in control and then removed when it is no longer in control. It could just be a thin coloured bar on the edge of or around the screen. I don’t I think a glow around the ship would look nice (that is another idea I had).

Anyway, I think it is an issue for new players and I don’t think I am the only one who is getting confused with the tactical map and gameplay nuances.

Credits are denoted with a comma (e.g. 534,523) but the price tags on the ship for sale are not (e.g. 18466 credits), making it harder to tell how much something costs at a glance. It would be great if their prices were separated by the comma as well.
