You can always pause the battle, go to tactical view, think over the situation and give out orders.

And you can press U to let the AI control your flagship, which lets you to play in full RTS mode.

It'd be nice to have something to do in empty system, bu i don't think that having empty systems, and even constellations entirely made up from them is a problem.

As for neutron stars and black holes, there could perhaps be a quest that tasked you with researching them. Perhaps launching an asteroid into a star and scanning the debris.

I disagree. Second stage triggers really close to the ship, any decent PD will shut down sabots just like any other missile unless you shoot them point-blank.

You need to replace industry tag with structure tag, not just remove it.

I haven't bought a single weapon so far. Salvaged weapons are enough for anything, at least if you hoard them through the entire game.

I have never even considered avoiding storms. There's no real downside to passing right through, unless you're really low on supplies.

As in the title, please make a single screen, where we can see all of the commodities. Currently you can sort of check this kind of thing for commodities you currently have on yourself, but that's it. If a shortage happens somewhere, you won't know it unless you visit that market directly.

Yeah. I'd even be okay with having to interact with comm relay to update that info.

Old storms were horrible.  I never want to see them again.  New storms are much better than old storms, and they often do more good than bad.
I haven't experienced old storms, but as they are now they are pretty much inconsequential.
