General Discussion / STARFARER - what it will be at beginning ? :)
« on: January 24, 2012, 10:37:10 AM »
ELLO! I must say this one: This is my first and ONLY game that i bought. Its the only one that deserve it. The people that makes game with so much attention, love, precision and dedication really deserve it. Now, lets get to the point. I got few Q and would appreciate answers  ;)

1. Campaign would consist from two modes/views.
First one would be "strategic" view where we see our and any other fleet like single ship. In this view we travel through system jump to other system etc. All in real time right?
Second one would be "battle" view and that one is what we have today in missions.

So game would be like Heroes of might and magic 1/2/3/4/5/6 but in real time, right?

2. Would "world" go with his own business regardless of player action? To put it simple, player isn't 1 man empire who shape entire sector he IS 1 little part of it and his decisions can make difference piece by piece?

3. Will there be some major conflict?

4. Will it be possible for player to engage battle that has been already started? I think this will be difficult.Hmmm, let see.. How much battle last with autocombat or between 2 AI players? If they are over in instant then its impossible but if they last 30 sec or more then it is possible :)

5. Will there be some kind pirte/mercenary outpost from where they will spawn and where they will return at the end of the day? Outpost that they will upgraded so its become bigger after lots  successful looting? And then they can get bigger ships and better weapons etc. Or something like that?

Agh look at time i must go but if something drop on my mind again ill bug you more  :P
