Quick question, with Nex will the faction controlled colonies improve themselves eventually? I have seen a faction that is size 4, but it has not built industries. Are the factions static?

I did. Deleted the old folder, downloaded the new one. Game plays for a few minutes then drops to desktop.

Started doing this on saved game so I even restarted a new game in case it was due to a mod removing or changing content. No dice, still crashes.

Scratch the previous post. Looks like its an issue in the updated ship and weapon pack. I see ppl posting it in there as well. Sorry about that, should have looked into it more before I posted.

Thank you very much Alex for looking into that so quickly and finding that information.

I appeared to have the updated version per version checker, but I noticed in my files the date was different than the newest update in the Shadowyards mod forum.
I have downloaded and will test it out now.

Sorry, I had already started a saved game, so I basically just re-created the same error. This was taking over a different station than previously just to test it out.

This only happens to me after I take over colony or station. Once taken I can play for a few minutes, then it crashes to desktop with a null error.

Beyond this I have had no problems. I can play normally without issues as long as I do not take over a station and claim it for myself.

Sorry if this has been addressed already.

So I went into Nex mod and took out the Lte line as suggested as well as dealing with the older Artefact mod. Works like a charm now. Thank you for your help

I did, but I did it from the first page link. I will try it form the actual post of the update. I would not think it would make a difference, but no harm checking it.

Gotcha. thank you for the quick reply. Quick question then, do I need to still change the vramps folder to make mods work with the new version? Will SS+ run multiple mods or does it need Nex to be updated prior to running multiple mods again?
