I just happened to have the same issue. No Alpha core drops, after installing Exotica (installed it in a late-game save).

I haven't yet found if this mod is the issue, but seems so. I'll start a new game and let you know.

In my game (Nexerelin + Dynasector), I had an option for your mod within the Prism Freeport. It was the only place I could find where I could interact with your mod content.

I guess I did something wrong or the mod isn't compatible with some of the mods I'm using?

Anyways, I'll stick to the IBB for now :)

Crash happened after I won a fight I took from the Prism Freeport. It was right before the galaxy map was about to open.

I really do hope this mod gets started. Bugs fixed, more ships and so on.

It's been a very stimulating push for me, to re-enter gameplay.

I've played with the mod on several occasions. I have encountered two bugs:

1) Sometimes, when I visit the station I already had an institute established, I have the option to create another one. I would basically have two then.
2) Sometimes, my invested points are lost. Effectively allowing me to start from level 1 and re-purchase mods, ships and so on.

Unfortunately I don't know how to report these bugs more precisely, since I have no "error log" or screenshots.

PS: I absolutely love the mod. It's a new take on a different gameplay technique, that makes the mid to end game so much more enjoyable (along with the IBB).

I have the same driver and haven't experienced any problems whatsoever.

Or just go straight to the people of another faction and join them. You automatically lose the old commision.

Both of these weapons shows its primary role as assault.  Does it still function as PD anyway?  Or are you talking about in conjunction with that PD AI hull mod that allows all weapons to function as PD?

There is a flag called "Also acts as PD" or the like, when a weapon that isn't clearly labeled as such in the game interface, still acts and functions as PD.

Perhaps a more knowledgeable modder can explain this better, for you.

At one time, I was mad about playing only with them. You had some innovative gameplay mechanics that I didn't saw before :)

Hey Dark,

Just wanted to ask about the (800-900k) IBB fleet full of automated ships that I defeated, who's ships never ended up showing in the Prism market.

I tried to so many times to find them, that I'm certain that they are not meant to show up.

The unique ship in question was a behemoth of a ship. Probably took half the screen at normal zoom (I might be exagerarating but that's how I remember it). It had 50k cargo and 50k fuel capacity or in that area.

Is it meant to appear in the Prism market after you defeat it?

I'm really asking because every other ship does. Just not any of the ships in that automated ships fleet.
