I would just like to thank the devs for this amazing feature. I am a person full of anxiety, and the fear of losing ships, for me, has always kept me from using big fleets, I had NEVER been in any huge battle before this update. But with this update I have been able to experience the mind numbing awesomeness of being apart of giant fleet actions containing TONS of ships. This is literally the best feature EVAR. Thank you.

Is it just me or has the distance the escort keeps from the escortee been vastly reduced? I fly a vigilance and I have a wolf escort me, but he just keeps crashing in to me and is RIGHT next to the entire time, sometimes he will just grind up next to me and destroy my armor, It is REALLY annoying.

I was in the market and was reading about the station in orbit around Jangala, it said that it had a rotating habitat for artificial gravity. I had thought that the artificial gravity is more advanced in Starsector's universe, so is there other forms of gravity or is this it? And if that is it does that mean that the ships we fly have no gravity.

PS, Looking at pictures it looks like the internals of the ships are designed around them having gravity...

With the introduction of all of the new terrain types in the campaign map, it would be nice to set way points for you fleet to circumvent areas you do not want to deal with. This would be extra helpful to traders that can just set a path through the hyperspace avoiding the storms.

Was going to trade some fuel then thought of this useful idea, how about any extra fuel you are not using goes into your storage, makes sense and it makes it easier to trade.

There should be different paint jobs for each of the ships, matching the faction that own them, like maybe a lower tech ship, but that is owned by the Tri-Tachyon, so it's painted Blue and white.

OOOH, A red APOGEE, that would be sick.

One thing that really annoys me about this game is the independent "faction". When I think independent I don't think mercenaries coming to kill me after I off a smuggler who has just been trading with pirates. What I propose is to split this faction up, where we have something along the lines of a free trading guild, of traders and mercenaries who watch each others backs for a chance to get payed, and a truly independent "faction. The independents would work like advertised, smugglers and other shady/work for themselves types who aren't aligned with any other faction, or each other, so if you kill one, another won't care. Now one problem arises with this system, we don't want players rampantly murdering people without consequences, so I thought with the new range of detecting fleets in the upcoming update if you can kill someone while staying out of the range of say the Hegemony and they can't detect who you are(and maybe for an added level of difficulty you have to leave no survivors) you can escape. But if they do find you, you lose reputation and you have to pay a fine.

Bug Reports & Support / Crash causes lost activation key

So I was playing my game(with mods) and it crashed(to be expected). now when I try to restart the game it asks me for my activation key. I have had this game for almost 2 years now and it will be really annoying to have to sift through that many emails to find even if i still have it.

General Discussion / Where's My Apogee?!

So I am really loving this update but I have one major problem, I cant Get an Apogee.
I have been trying hard to get on good terms with the TT(+75 Rep) but it wont go up any longer no matter what I try.
Also the apogee is not showing up in their military station.
I'm thinking I will have to attack the hegemony but I have tried hard to be on good terms with everyone.(Except the pirates, which I'm -100 rep with)
Please help The game just isn't the same without my Apogee.
