Is there any sort of shorthand method to render a visual copy of a ship like how addAfterimage does? Working on some custom afterimage visuals, but currently I'm just rendering the ship's sprite which looks fine mostly, but has some issues like obviously empty weapon mounts.



I guess making a ship with fixed loadout of weapons, like Nomad ones is eventually way to go.

Also fighters were separate entity in fleet. They were not part of ship , they were separate slot, like frigates, destroyers , cruisers and battleships.

I dont had crashes with Yari. Although i got problem with not getting bounties after like 3 or 4.

Try delete your old vayra sector and vayra ships mods and put them from fresh download again.

There are not many free capital ship lying aroun Persean Sector. This one, if you find it, is basically free, minus crew and supplies.

Any unhabited system should be have chance to spawn XIV Legion and other ships. There are not many XIV ships outside Legion scattered in sector.

Why not be like Paradox?
You can't just become a soulless DLC factory overnight, it takes years of effort and dedication.

So be like Paradox ? "Make every new game simpler than older one , make 999 dlc for everything from font to pants color of your army/hero/whatever, and dont listen to community. Yeah, great advise. Mayby go full bonker and be like Electronic Arts if you want to ruin Starsector.
