SWP ships bad?
Most of ship/weapon pack ships are very balanced, and many of them are good in this or another way. You must check your ships against others. I dont mind if ships are bad in many ways. I like Kodai for example from Taran modpack, which is basically a 4 medium balistic guns of questionable arcs with a getto lance which is crap against shield and armor but good against hull. It dont have good small gun coverage, but it have a suprising amount of speed. I must say i did not met any scavenged ships like Briliant. I dont saw them at least...

It's not even very good at what is does. It's so broken in term of dmg on flux spent it cant properly work.

I will also point at Junk Superfreighter. It have very good cannon, but it is extremely slow both in normal space and in battle, it have tragic flux dissipation and capacity, it is giant target with bad shields. It's just bad. there is not many ships i met from HMI which are any good. Hammerhead combat freighters are decent, but they're a sister ships to very succesfull Hammerhead so they technicaly dont count. Same for Hammerhead TT. King Roach is a Dominator with better coverage of weapons but very chaotic one too.

After some time pathers have massive fleets. If you dont curb their enthusiasm then they can blob enough for it.

If I specialize with carrier skills, I only have few flagships to play with, with Astral being the ultimate endgame ship.  This gets boring with only so few ships to choose from.  Although if I want to do what the OP did, I probably would need to pilot Drover and run away.

Odyssey is a brawler with fighters on the side (similar to Remnant's Brilliant).  Legion is a true hybrid (that slightly favors brawling) that wants all of the skills maxed, but if I can cannot get all of the skills, Legions works decently enough with only warship skills and Fighter Doctrine.  It would be nice if there was another dedicated capital-sized carrier, and one that favors fighters and interceptors, instead of bombers.  (Legion is not it!)  Astral is built for bomber spam.

Unlimited fighters is like unlimited Salamanders plus unlimited Fast Missile Racks back in one of the 0.6.5 patches, but not as cheesy.

Mayby carrier with big capacity of hangar bays like Astral but with hullmod preventing bombers in them? Specialised hangar bays?

Well there are some hullmods which do dingly dong to combat so you basically can "hunt" for this ones.

What is doing a Junker hullmod when ship dies. From description it should improve something in it, right?

Even bad ship with good weapons can fight ludd. Good dont mean strictly powerfull, but effective in term of flux-dmg-fluxpersec-fluxship ratio. For example, Sunder is good with flux-dmg but is tragic with fluxpersec and flux of ship itself. Meanwhile Conquest have great dissipation rate, good number of weapons and can be made very effective longer weapon platform.

Drones are not spread in same quantities on both side of map (left-right). Sometimes there will be more on right, few on left, sometimes both have roughly the same , sometimes small quantity on both sides.

Motherships in each game are only two per sector, with i think one cryogenic vault per game with Guardian defending it.

Domain drones are common. They're in small quantity in closer parts of know space, more of them is on outskirts of sector.

In some mods there are several midline carrier , but they're more a evolution of Legion than lower tech mass bay carriers.

I dare you now to make some usefull mining fighting fleet bro. So they need to be armed in some sort of mining weapon. I give you one ship type very important for that: Kodai Cruiser, very decent middle tier cruiser with a high-dmg-impact but mediocre vs armor mining lance.

I think there is also small chance to acquire them from stations, and definitely you can buy them in exchange in special neutral station (Lotus station or something like that). If you have SCY it is in scy main system.

There is better version of Copernicus with Hegemony Auxillary mod. I used it even to point of medium danger Remnant systems.
