If you jump into a system and click on a planet or something before your fleet finishes jumping through a point, it will act as if you selected that point instead

Bug Reports & Support / [0.8] Launcher bug in Windows 10

Someone on discord that I have been talking to is having issues with running the game. The launcher keeps on crashing (popping up as a black square for a split second and then Windows says that java is not responding) and we have tried several things. What is weird though is that his log is say that he is running Windows 8 and it has never been Windows 8

What we have tried:
Installs to different locations
Restarts
Reinstalls
Changing out the JRE to 64 bit java 7
RAM reallocation
Legacy Launcher (which got slightly further where the launcher stays up but as soon as he clicks run, it goes black screen and crashes)

It seems that as soon as it chooses the refresh rate, it "crashes" but there is no popup afterwards...

If you lay in a course to a derelict and it disappears as you reach it, you get spammed with "Laying in course" messages and the resulting sound. Sadly I don't have the save

Ummmm, somehow I'm getting an OoM error after I finish loading. I haven't touched anything besides changing a few settings in the settings config! (Armor to 1 and no full screen white outs)

Found some bugs with the traitor command from console commands: If you bring in an ally and kill it, the DP that it used will NOT be released. Also even though the ship has changed sides, you can't order other ally ships to attack it and when using a band/ drag box to select ships, the now enemy ship is selected. I don't know if this is a vanilla bug or a mod bug which is why I am posting the bug report here.

I have noticed that if you leave the launcher open it will continue to eat up more and more memory at a rate of around 100K to 250K according to Task Manager
Edit: Also it seems that Alt F4 ing out of it, but not clicking the X, will cause it to throw a fatal null error...

As it says in the title, if you dock with the Abandoned Terraforming Platform and don't have your plates, I mean your transponder on, you don't have the option of repairing all your ships because the "Neutrals" don't know who you are.

Sooo I recently added BRDY to my game and restarted and I noticed that I was getting hangs/ freezes every few mins that would resolve if I didn't close out SS. I noticed that EVERY time that this has happened, including here: http://fractalsoftworks.com/forum/index.php?topic=9900.msg170374#msg170374 , the game's last log entry is usually either A something like this:

This stopped happening after I turned off the sound in the launcher
Mods: Blackrock Driveyards modders chat dev version, LazyLib, ShaderLib (with all effects turned off), Console commands, save transfer, version checker, autosave, common radar and a personal mod that adds ships
I think that when I added BRDY, it just brought the problem in question front and center instead of needing an extended play session
I'm using the built in JRE btw

I found a fleet that was well within my sensor range and wasn't showing the usual circle that fleets have.

On my power trip to find stronger enemies, I decided to make the Heg my enemy and got them down to vengeful. After doing so, I decided to install a sniffer on the Jangala relay to see what would change and also force other fleets to appear. I checked it awhile later and it was gone but I didn't receive any intel about it being found. I installed another and went back to it immediately and it was not there.

I have noticed that using the Info command directs you to the empty hull instead of the variant like it use to. This forces you to navigate through the variant portion of the codex to find the enemies current loadout. While this isn't very bad now, it could end up being a royal pain once mods, especially SS+, are up and running again

After discovering that I was still using the java version that was packaged with SS, I switched to 64 bit to see if I could squeeze any more FPS out of my craptop. I was surprised when the performance was WORSE than that of the 32 java. I figured that I was using too much memory so I set it to 1536, from 2046, on both numbers. That didn't work and neither did 1024. Hell I even set it to the same limit as the 32 bit java and it STILL spikes! No matter what I set my vmparams file too, I can't get the frame rate to stay smooth.

After looking at task manager, I found my problem; the CPU usage was spiking at random times to 95+% usage. It was basically maxing my cheap ass CPU and causing the FPS to plummet, even to the point where I thought it had froze. I switched back to 32 bit java and it was smooth. Semi slow, but smooth.

Soooo, is this a SS or java bug and can you guys help me?
