In my experience, it scales to just beyond what you can currently carry.

Kind of annoying, to be honest.
Nah, it's the max cargo they give you that is more than you can carry. The more you can carry the more randomized they get with the offers and you can get stuff like 2k, 6k, 9k etc.

I love transport x amount of y to z quests but i'm curious if they ever stop scaling.

Yesterday i got a quest to deliver 25k of something(i forgot) for almost 800k bitcoins.

I am really curious if there is a limit to it(other than running out of fleet space for Atlases).

In nexerelin my brand new colonies almost always end up bombed into oblivion by main factions over and over(Thanks to random diplomatic events + everyone being a prick).

In vanilla i got along with everyone like a freaking carebear and it worked.
In nexerelin after getting bullied relentlessly i decided to sell bombs to pathers, made friends with pirates and remnants and invaded every god damn world i could easily get to and gave it to independents, the only faction that didn't screw me over.

I love this game.  ;D

It's 50 DP but yeah your points still stand. With Legions being very good now, there's just no reason to use an Astral except for flavour reasons.

May I even dare to say, Astral got slightly obsoleted since every other ship has access to large missiles now, and with the amount of missile ordnance you can gather, 6 bombers doesn't even seem like that much for an expensive capital.

Huh it is 50dp... how did i miss that? >.<

I love the way astral looks and the ship system is fun too but whenever i use it my inner bean counter is screaming at me for not using something else like 2x prometheus mk2 or even 6x condor.

6 fighter bays and 2 awkwardly placed large missile racks and a couple of small/medium energy for 60 dp is a horrible deal.

After running a bunch of bounties with astral for support i swapped it for 2x prometheus mk.2 and everything became easier. 2x prom combined have same dp cost.
Main differences(from both proms combined):
Lose 2 fighter bays
Gain 4x large hybrid slots
swap medium energy slots to medium ballistics
Swap shield quality to way more armor and hull
Speed! Astral has 30 speed while proms have 50 + burn drive.

Heck i got way more use out of 6 condors with unstable injectors. Doubling fighter bays for the same cost.


I love the idea of astral the mega carrier but for 60dp there are so many better support options.

Maybe give it something like built in faster fighter replenishment or something?

if you're savescumming every pursuit battle, sure.
Prometheus + atlas combined have 60 sensor profile with built in insulated engines. And with 10burn fleetwide you simply outrun everything so build your fleet with that in mind if you keep getting caught.

My current game i am running with 20 enforcers and 6 monitors. Nothing can catch you and you clap everything.

I love those things, i used to get different transports and tankers but is there a point anymore?

With built-in insulated engines those things get 30 sensor profile and have 75 detection.

Bulk transport gives them +2 burn, stick Augumented drive field on them and you have a 10burn transport/tanker with a frigate sensor profile and more space for junk/fuel you will ever need before you start lugging 10 capitals around.

Suggestions / More ways to gain experience.

Right now the only good ways to gain experience are combat and making good trades.
Exploration gives anemic exp good for the first 2-3 levels.

Finishing missions gives you big fat nothing. Gaining exp for completing missions would be a nice alternative.

Suggestions / Bounties: make ships with built-in hullmods recoverable.

I did a few very high tier bounties that had me fighting elite ships with 2-3 built-in hullmods. That got my adrenaline pumping but NONE of the recoverable ships had any green mods in them.

Please make at least one of the ships from the bounty recoverable with green hullmods.

I know that you get a lot of bitcoins for those fights, but being unable to get any of those sweet green mods is almost rage quit inducing (if the game wasn't so addicting).
