I was about to enter a battle with some pirates and when i clicked engage the game crashed.

The error is as follows:

General Discussion / Brighter ship explosions

Are ship explosions brighter this update? Every time a ship explodes now its so blindingly bright, during longer battles i start closing my eyes sometimes.

Suggestions / Suggestion to improve commissions and contacts QoL

Something that i thing would improve commissions for the better would be to once you get one, you would be attributed a contact automatically and that contact would attribute missions to you that you would have to complete in order to continue being employed by the faction.

The contact would start at lets say for example medium importance, and as the player keeps completing missions the contacts could get higher importance(as the player gets promoted within the faction)  and unlock perks like buying faction ships at better prices(like some military contacts do now) , the missions could be the usual generated missions (bounties, deliveries) and they would get better and more difficult (harder bounties, redacted bounties, deserters).

Eventually maybe the player would be offered to join said faction and have a title(like archon for the PL) within the faction maybe unlocking faction story related missions and access to blueprints. When the player leaves the joined faction they would be treated as a deserter and be hunted down.

Since contacts in vanilla are only reachable when orbiting the planet maybe there would be a tab on the intel screen where we could access contacts remotely when within range of comms (similar to stellar networks).
