It appears that the autocomplete does not respect whether you've retreated ships in finishing the combat.

The thing is, auto resolving mid-battle is buggy as all hell at best

HELL sometimes when I used auto resolve it even
BROUGHT BACK TO LIFE THE SHIPS I BLEW UP !

And as a result "auto-resolves" the conflict as if I auto-resolved from the start
(wich is always a terrible idea unless the difference in fleets is outright ridiculous).

Nevertheless I agree we need more control on the actual ordering system, right now it REALLY is annoying me to not be able of telling ALL of my fighters to target that one bloody sod who's running away and I can't catch up to in my Apogee...

Perhaps A.I. tweaks related to factions using the ships ?

I.E. pirates not having the same A.I. bloody trained military officiers have ?

Seems legit to me...

Now what I'm on about is the fact rockets can stop LARGE amounts of projectiles

Right now enforcers are able of LITTERALLY meatshield most of the damage thrown at them by just spamming rockets and since thoses have a TON of ammo as far as missile weaponry go.

I suggest to make rockets unable to stop incoming projectiles and have other forms of weaponry (ballistic and energy) being able to just shoot THROUGH the bloody things....

Tempest had aug engines and aux thrusters

at one moment it DID feel like the brawler was going at the same speed...

Maybe was triggered by minor slow downs ?

that seems to be what triggers the phasing plasma cannon shots for me

Put a tempest together real quick, ran simulation, rammed a brawler's shields with mine

My tempest's shield went right through his

not useable/exploitable in any possible way but still present....

one or two would just look out of place against the high fps of the rest of the game, and 30-50 would be overkill, no?

You'd need about 6 or 8 sprites to do something looking fairly decent and even then its still going a tad overboard

For example a spinning radar dish would take 9 sprites if its doing a 360 spin

Besides I never said it HAD to featured in the vanilla content, I was meaning it to be doable mainly for mod purposes

Also you don't NEED to put doodads all over your damn ship you could do something like ONE part of your ship who'd need to made multiple times, besides peoples wil most likely get lazy and just kit-bash them things

Instead of taking you 5 minutes it'll take you an extra 2 or 3 minutes to make the animations....

I say

Pop the small energetic mount for a medium missile slot

Pop all the PD weaponry and instead give it a fourth small missile point on its weaker side

To be honest, the PD on this ship is nowhere near capable of doing anything to even fighters so having them or not is not a big change, if a pilum's going for the buf2's face it WILL crash in its face and much butt-clenching will be had regardless of having a puny PD laser on the front and the plasma blaster is the ONE weapon I avoid like the plague in this game, to me its an abomination, an ammo limited energy weapon ?

Not only it makes no sense since neither the plasma cannons OR the blasters are NOT limited ammo weapons but its damage to flux ratio, its muzzle speed and range makes it a genuinely non-interresting weapon

So instead make the buf2 a TRUE missile spam ship because right now if anything the missiles are good for to me anyway is to clutter up the  screen with slow moving ammo

By wich I mean multiple sprites cycling at a set speed

This would be to either add some animated details to ship hulls like radar dishes, or reactors/tubines....there's other possible examples !

Also the ability to have this trigger when the ship is using certain maneuvers like straffing or firing a certain weapon

Seems rathers simplistic but hell that'd be appreciated

If I can do that I'll consider trying to make mods myself...

Wow, don't get so mad, I finished Perfect Cherry Blossom and Imperishable Night fyi.

You even know HOW MANY *** 'tards actually say that while being dead serious ?

Believe me It makes me go bat-sh*t insane fairly fast to meet peoples that actually try and be smart asses saying that touhou is all about porn and all that kind of crap while having never played a SINGLE game in the series....

But enough of off-topic....

I was wondering if anyone would think about making a Touhou mod ?

I know there's QUITE A BUNCH of peoples who'd LOVE to see that happen

Plus the sprites used in the original touhou games could be used to make weapons and "ships"

....

Why touhou ?

Ability to move around in system map, right now this map is being the BANE of my sanity

I SWEAR the inability of moving this map around to target certain fleets/stations is making me FOAM like a mad mongrel....
