@D0vahkiin tell me more about the fire faction. I'd love to see the pirates :D

An extremely corrupt former Corporation, which fell, but the leadership wasn't okay with that, and still clings to an isolated harvesting complex deep inside a massive gas giant. They have a massive navy, which formerly belonged to the Corporation, and was split apart upon the collapse. They mostly use midline ships with advanced armor and weapons systems, but horrible at flux efficiency and venting, because they are barely able to keep maintaining the complex generators, weapons and shield systems the midline ships have.

I'm available to proof the descriptions. Or if you're comfortable with it, I can write some as well. You can just send me either the descriptions or a few points on what you want me to write into them.

Well, for a start, we don't even have some solid ground to start on :D
But I'll ask you when I need descriptions ;)

Like I asked earlier, I can work on some of the core factions, etc. I already have an idea for the main "pirate" kind of faction in the system.

Gotta start somewhere, right?

I am no coder, but I can provide A LOT of backstories, backgrounds, ideas for weapons, factions, races, ships, etc.

So I would be interested in providing those, if this gets off the ground.

This game is too epic, I agree. I stopped playing other games almost completely, space games are just too epic, and this one is the best.

Ahh, I see, thanks. It's much easier to refit for missions now.

Another thing, refit mode doesn't allow you to view important ship statistics, like shield properties, etc. They should pop up like in the fleet tab when hovering your mouse over the ship.

Anyways, didn't see the save game compatible thing.. I can play again, thank you  :)

I can't start a new game, because the new version is coming today, but I can't stand the waiting so I have to refresh the forums every 30 seconds :(

I don't think there should be any Alien factions or anything, because the Domain. But what I do think there should be, some mysterious Aliens that don't make contact, only observe. Or only Aliens that pass by the sector, likely refugee fleets or something like that, searching for a new home. An alien horde that devours entire sectors could be an interesting late game event.

It indeed is impressive. My frigates seem to survive much longer, they are even engaging in something that resembles hit and run tactics o.o

They are my favorite ships in the game. They just look so sleek, epic and work great. Wish there were more of them, usually they run out so you can't get a full fleet of them.
