Ive been peeking in this thread for some time, I too would like to see a stargate mod, as it is, after SW my favourite sci-fi serial/movie.

If I had more time I would like to help, but as it is, i barely get to work on my own mod, sorry :(

Anyways, there are somethings that come on mind, when considering a Stargate mod with Starfarer. There are many races, some are
obviously hostile towards each other, but take the crew and marines on stations - you would be stucked with human crew and marines..
that would be a immersion breaker I dont know how to get around :/

If you could disable crew leveling you could have the different types of crew be different types of races, regulars could be humans, veterans could be goauld, and elite could be asgard, as well the conscripts could be replicators or something else. Marines could just made to look like something everyone would have, not sure what that would be, but its possible

Just roll with what  you said and NEVER look back at this and wild dogs will not have to eat the part of your brain that came up with this,

I love how everything thinks hangon...i need to spin too! (which just  reminded me of the error i had in startreker...hahaha....spinning borg cubes)

Usually I don't look back, but when I type things and check for spelling that is when I cringe

No matter what forces i give the opposing fleet - Rock Fly makes an easy kill of it. That thing IS overpowered if under player control.

So. There will be a mission where you control it, but its difficulty will be 'Trivial' :) Otherwise i have to bring into combat tons of Moscows and Michigans to somehow make it difficult. And that`s not exactly lore-wise.

But it's fun! Or you could have the RSF Dreadnought fight the Rock Fly

Eh which enemy ships, on the missions?

All of them, I love the art, and all of that, but I haven't been able to kill a ship without taking a ton of damage. The ballistic weapons have short range, and your ships have slow maneuverability.
