So minor question, I tried the Valkazard start to see how it goes, but how do I use the drugs to complete the ship? I acquired some but it still says I need drugs in order to go full power.

I unfortunately can't answer your question, but what I can tell you is that Nia Tahl was able to create starts in the "custom start" section of Nexerelin that begin with faction relations artificially augmented, and even give the player a great deal of fun goodies in the form of an abandoned storage station chock-full of sellable goods and high-tier weapons to help get the player started with their hard-mode game as the Pirate Captain of the Red Hand. So its definitely possible to shift around with Nex. Though I imagine this information alone won't be much help.

Completely minor and ignorable suggestion, but would you be willing to turn the standard AO starts (20 relations with major benefactor + Small Destroyer/Frigate Fleet) into custom Nexerelin starts? Because, I feel that a large part of the enjoyment of AO is slowly climbing yourself from small-time grunt all the way up to a big boss in terms of your favorite faction. And Nex starting you at friendly wherein you have access to a lot of the cool toys kind of breaks that.

I don't mean change the numbers on Nex's "faction starts", since I imagine that means working into Nex itself, but rather specific custom starts like what Tahlan did with the Red Hand and the Balisong.

Minor request, but would you be averse to upgrading the Heavy Industry on Luna or giving them a nanoforge? Now I will be first to admit I know next to nothing about Gundam lore, so its entirely possible that this is done to stay in line with said lore. And frankly I don't mind most of the effects, low number of ship purchasing choices, D-Mods, etc. The thing I am miffed about is when I want to arm a ship to EFSF specs but can't because the number of actual EFSF weapons in all 3 markets (military, open, and black) doesn't have more than three Anti-MS PDF guns.

Thanks for the info, looks like asking Darren what he thinks of me won't end up with "I wouldn't trust you with a sword if my life depended on it," anymore!

Having finally beat Darren, I must say there is a certain feeling of accomplishment when I see "You're a good duelist, I must say," after a campaign of being ridiculed by him.

As awkward as it might be to ask this, how to do you attack in the swordfighting minigame? I never triggered the Eventide party mission, so frankly I don't know what any of the controls are outside of what I learned through getting my ass beat by Darren, which is parry, advance, retreat, and... that's it, I certainly can't win against him without an attack button... so, what's the attack button?

I'm currently in the Wayward Star System "???" and Sierra told me to send out a signal in order to start the mission, so the first thing I thought of doing was summoning Omicron... evidently that's not what you do, so I brought in the cavalry for nothing. But outside of that what 'signal' do I have to emit in order to actually start it?

BTW I really enjoyed the Coral Sea Redux-ish mission so thanks for putting that one in.

Embarassing question, but I got the event to start the "Promise" questline, and it sent me to the Westernesse system. I went around in a ring scanning out the place but didn't find any derelicts so I decided to travel into the planets and search comms/bars for events or dialogue choices, but nothing came up. Has something gone wrong or?

Was there a change to the "Scent of Adventure" quest? I've been in bars and taverns all across the sector and have yet to find that pirate who tells me where it is.

That's NEW Meshan, the mission where you fight over the original Meshan seems to imply Tri-Tach glassed the planet (it's literally a Volcanic wasteland).

Weird question but, is Meshan actually in the map? The history of the AASV makes a big deal about the Battle of Meshan and the mission heavily implies the place was glassed, but if you try to find it in the sector, there's no planet called Meshan. Of course this has no bearing on gameplay, but I'm the kind of dude who nerds way too much over lore so it kind of bothers me that its not there.

I've killed Safeguard like 3 times in a row now and haven't gotten the flying artillery piece to drop his loot. Am I missing something? Does he not drop anything? I know I can't recover Safeguard, but a Nanotech weapon would be nice.

If I may ask, how does one acquire the Sajuuk-Khar? Do you just randomly find one on the Hiigaran market after a while, or do you have to do a quest like what Arkgneisis does with the Salvation Cruiser?

Thanks for the info! And I didn't mean THAT Stellar Imperium lol. I was referring to the Starsector mod with the Romanesque-AI worshippers. I mentioned it because given the position of Ex-Vis on the stellar charts Camellian Privateers could quite easily raid a convoy running from the Imperium to the Core.

Probably a rather nonsensical question to ask, but does the ORA exist in the same "Universe" as the Stellar Imperium? I was looking over the flavor text for the Battle of Camellia and it mentioned privateering the "Ex-Vis" trade routes to fund the civil war, and unless I am hallucinating that's the Imperium's home system. It really has nothing to do with gameplay or otherwise, but it would just be cool if I didn't misunderstand that line and these two factions canonically exist together.
